As a Civil and Interior Turnkey Contractor, Prabhu Contractor contracts with other organizations or individuals (the owner) for the demolition, excavation, landscaping, construction, renovation, interior works, electrical and plumbing, water proofing etc. Prabhu Contractor is responsible for the technical expertise and professional results to be achieved in accordance with taste and desires of the client.
 
Interior Works :
Prabhu Contractor undertakes individual interior jobs related to tiling, false ceiling, P.O.P., Feng Shui, carpentry, glazing, painting etc. Interior works are those jobs that require to be implemented within the inner space of any property.
Civil works : -
Prabhu Contractor also do undertake individual exterior civil jobs relating to demolishing, excavation, landscaping, construction, electrical and plumbing, P.O.P. works tiling, water proofing etc.
For clients better understanding a few of the works are briefly explained
Carpentry : - This is a skilled art of transforming sheets or blocks of wood into objects of daily use and utility. Carpentry requires highly trained, skilled and experienced manpower to transform wood to furniture.
Glazing : - This is a transparent part of a wall, usually made of glass or plastic (acrylic and polycarbonate). Common types of glazing used in civil applications include clear and tinted float glass, tempered glass and laminated glass as well as a variety of coated glasses, all of which can be glazed singly or as double, or even triple glazing units.
Painting : - Painting of houses, offices, bungalows and industrial units is the collective effort of a team of highly skilled painters who are familiar with working on different kinds of concrete structures. Painting involves a lot of pre-preparing a cement structure in the form of scrapping, neroo finishing, lampi treatment, application of primers and finally application of synthetic paint.
False ceiling :- They are extra lower ceilings designed to suit the height and interior decor requirements. False ceilings can be done in any type of material and is suitable for any area requiring a fixed, non-porous, non-fibrous and non-absorbent ceiling. False ceilings are lower in height and thus easy to clean and maintain.
Tiling : -This is the expert work of professional tile fitters. Tiling is done with a variety of materials, common being ceramic but the range varies from marble to granite. Floor tiles are generally fixed using mortar which is a combination of sand, cement, water. Sometimes a chemical latex is utilized for extra adhesion.
Feng Shui : This is the ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of articles and space to achieve harmony with the environment. Feng Shui literally translates as “Wind-Water”. Practicing effective and accurate Feng Shui has a positive effect on health, wealth and personal relationships.
Demolishing :- The activity of breaking down a constructed building / structure is called demolition. It is the exact opposite of construction. Demolition involves bringing down structures to the ground. In demolition the building or structure is systematically broken down either manually or mechanically using large hydraulic equipments, elevated work platforms, cranes excavators or bull dozers.
Excavation :- This activity is performed immediately after the demolition process is completed . Excavation is the main process of removing debris and destroyed material of the old demolished building. This can be done by manual labour or by hydraulic excavators. Excavation could also mean to dig and to prepare the property for laying the foundation of the new construction.

Landscaping : - This refers to professional gardening activity that changes and beautifies a simple peace of land. Landscaping involves a team effort of different gardeners having a variety of skills to handle flora and fauna. Landscaping involves understanding different earth materials and having the ability to grow plants and flowers with a goal of creating a beautiful environment in the client’s property.
Electrical :- This work requires trained and certified electricians who have ample experience in wiring buildings and structures. Electrical work involves having an understanding of domestic consumption of electricity so that the electrical points are placed effectively in houses, bungalows and offices.
Plumbing :- This is the skilled trade of working with pipes, tubing and plumbing fixtures for drinking water systems and the drainage of waste.
Construction : - This involves specialized fields of architecture and civil engineering. Construction is the physical process of actually building something (structure) on an empty piece of land. Construction involves high levels of multitasking different levels of skilled, semi skilled and unskilled workers.
P.O.P (Plaster of Paris) : - Plaster of Paris is used as a building material similar to mortar or cement. When water is mixed with cement it hardens into concrete. Similarly P.O.P. is a dry powder that is mixed with water to form a paste which liberates heat and then hardens. Unlike martar and cement, P.O.P. remains quite soft after drying and can be easily reshaped and designed as per clients requirements.
Water Proofing :- This is the formation of an impervious barrier which is designed to prevent water entering or escaping from various sections of building structures. Internal areas that are waterproofed include bathrooms, and toilets. External areas that are water proofed are the main exposed walls of the building and the entire roof of the structure.
Composite Aluminium :- This is a versatile Aluminium composite panel made out of two aluminium skins which are pre coated and thermally bonded to each side of non-toxic polyethylene core. Composite Aluminium is used extensively for the exterior façade of structures.
Fencing Work and Fabrication Work :-Fencing and Fabrication is a new service started with a specialized team from Karnataka. We have already executed one of the tallest fencing projects in Goa. It is at three kilometers before Old Goa on the way from Panjim.

Prabhu Contractor has extensive experience in the field of Interior designing. We have done a lot of work in Interior Designing around the whole of Goa. We do undertake carpentry work in Goa. We also do the construction of Turnkey Projects. Turnkey is often used to describe a home built ready for the customer to move in. If a contractor builds a "turnkey home" they frame the structure and finish the interior.
